Sisterhood
The Congregation Brith Sholem sisterhood was organized in May
of
1997 under the name "Lillian's Sisters," in honor of Lillian Rubin, a
central
figure in the congregation for some four decades until her death in the
spring of 1997. The purpose of the group is to offer the women of
Congregation
Brith Sholem opportunities for personal and spiritual growth and
service
to the congregation and the broader community. All women of the
congregation are welcome
to join the sisterhood and participate in its activities, many of which
are also open to the congregation at large. For more information,
contact Sue Tice (STice211@msn.com).
